The Nova Scotia Economic Development Board (CDENE) was accompanied by representatives from the municipalities of the Acadian regions of Nova Scotia at the Rendez-vous 2017 of the Francophone and Francophile City Network of America (RVFFA), on 17 On July 19 in Quebec City.

Tourism was at the heart of these three days of conferences, workshops and workshops. Indeed, RVFFA members were able to "explore and share the best strategies to contribute to the outreach and tourism development of Francophone communities". 

The RVFFA's missions are to promote the richness and vitality of francophone heritage, to enhance the Francophone and Francophile cultural communities, to develop economic and strategic alliances, to promote the tourist attractions of member cities on the international stage.
