Connecting Nova Scotian Businesses with Qualified Job Seekers
Halifax, January 16, 2017 – The Conseil de développement économique de la Nouvelle-Écosse (CDÉNÉ), in collaboration with other members of the national network, RDÉE Canada, is proud to present the second Virtual Job Fair (VJF), on February 22-23, 2017. CDÉNÉ is once again inviting francophone or bilingual employers to participate in the wake of the highly successful 2016 edition, which drew more than 13,000 visitors and some 30 companies and exhibitors offering more than 60 employment opportunities. This year, we're aiming even higher.
The VJF brings together all of the provincial and territorial member organizations of RDÉE Canada, including the CDÉNÉ, in order to provide a one-click link between Canadian employers looking for employees and qualified workers in Canada and around the world.
Organized in partnership with the RIM recruitment and international mobility firm, the fair has two goals:
- Give Canadian employers a better opportunity to recruit the talent they need to fill vacancies in their businesses while taking advantage of the "Francophone mobility" program.
- Give Francophone and bilingual job seekers a chance to explore a range of job opportunities they can apply for.
If you are a francophone or bilingual employer in Nova Scotia and are interested in participating in the VJF or if you are looking for more information, contact Natalie Comeau, Economic Immigration Officer at the CDÉNÉ by e-mail at This email address is being protected from spambots.
