Halifax, December 20, 2019 – The Conseil de développement économique de la Nouvelle-Écosse (CDÉNÉ) is pleased to announce the hiring of Erin Ryan as the new Economic Development Officer for Isle Madame. Her start date was December 2nd.

Erin was born and raised in Arichat, a small francophone community on Isle Madame in Nova Scotia. At a young age, Erin was actively involved in the tourism industry and the Francophone community. In May 2011, she graduated from Acadia University with a Bachelor of Business Administration (BAA). Professionally, she has worked for the Canadian government, but also in the financial sector and management. Her knowledge of the community and its members will be a wonderful asset.

"I am very excited to join the CDÉNÉ team," she said. "I hope that my education, experience and knowledge of our community will benefit the CDÉNÉ. In addition, it is a great privilege to work with our various partners, to develop and elaborate our economic development plan and to create sustainable economic development in our community."
