Halifax, May 20, 2020 – The Conseil de développement économique de la Nouvelle-Écosse (CDÉNÉ) is pleased to announce the recent hiring of Liette Comeau as the new Career Practitioner for Clare. Her start date was April 27th, 2020.

Liette was born and raised in Clare, an Acadian community with character. Liette has always been highly involved in her community. She has been involved in a number of volunteer activities and has interacted with a multitude of people from preschool children to seniors. In December 2018, she graduated from Acadia University with a Bachelor of Arts Major in Psychology. Professionally, Liette has worked with the Clare Recreation Department while also doing substitute teaching in the schools of the Conseil scolaire acadien provincial in the Clare region. Her knowledge of individual and community development will be a great asset.

"I am very excited to begin this new adventure with the CDÉNÉ team," she said. "I hope to be able to use my experience and knowledge at the CDÉNÉ to help the people of the Acadian community of Clare. I'm happy to work with our various partners, but also to develop my skills and abilities within our Acadian community. Vive le français!"
