CDÉNÉ welcomes Laura Lê back as part of its team
Halifax, April 20, 2021 – The Conseil de développement économique de la Nouvelle-Écosse (CDÉNÉ) is pleased to welcome back Laura Huynh Lê as an Economic Immigration Officer after a year and a half with the Immigrant Services Association of Nova Scotia (ISANS). She started her new position on April 15th in Halifax.
Originally from Belgium, Laura Huynh Lê holds a Master's degree in Population and Development Sciences from the Université Libre de Bruxelles. Laura also earned a Certificate in Adult Education with Dalhousie University and became a certified Essential Skills Practitioner.
As mentioned above, Laura has previously worked with CDÉNÉ; first as a Pre-arrival Immigration Services Officer and then as an Economic Immigration Officer. She then worked on a research project to support visible minority newcomer women in their job search with Immigrant Services Association of Nova Scotia (ISANS). Laura is passionate about inclusion and project coordination.
Today, Laura returns to CDÉNÉ as an Economic Immigration Officer.
"I am delighted to share my skills and motivation to foster the economic success of the Acadian and Francophone regions of Nova Scotia. CDÉNÉ's economic immigration project will help strengthen the attraction and retention of Francophone talents from abroad. I look forward to working with CDÉNÉ partners and employers in the province, aiming to make Nova Scotia a place where French-speakers can thrive professionally and personally", she said.
