Grâce Sathoud, new Research Assistant
Halifax, September 13, 2021 – The Conseil de développement économique de la Nouvelle-Écosse (CDÉNÉ) is pleased to announce the recent hiring of Grâce Sathoud as Research and Administrative Support Assistant for the Francophone Economic Immigration Project. Her start date was September 7th, 2021.
Grâce was born in the Republic of Congo and grew up in Cameroon, two countries in Central Africa that are predominantly French speaking. Grâce has been involved in the Francophone community through her professional and volunteer activities from Sept-Rivières to Halifax via Montreal, Ottawa-Gatineau, Moncton, Cape Breton not to mention Clare. In December 2019, she obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration (BAA) from Université Sainte-Anne. On a professional note, she has worked for the Conseil scolaire acadien provincial (CSAP), Trend Micro, Centreaide United Way as well as in the health sector. Her knowledge of the community and the challenges related to immigration will be an asset for this position.
"I am excited to join the CDENÉ team," she said. "I hope that my education, experience and knowledge of immigration issues will be an added value to my work. It will be a privilege to work with Francophones from across Canada and contribute to the economy of this country which has become my home."
