Mourad El achhab, new Coordinator
Halifax, September 13, 2021 – The Conseil de développement économique de la Nouvelle-Écosse (CDÉNÉ) is pleased to announce the recent hiring of Mourad El achhab as Coordinator for its project on Foreign Credential Recognition of Internationally Trained Nurses. His start date was September 7th, 2021.
Mourad was born and raised in Tetouan, a beautiful coastal city in northern Morocco. As an immigrant himself, he understands perfectly the characteristics and the issues involved.
With a degree in Nursing, and after a rich experience of 15 years in different public institutions of health care in Morocco, Mourad joined the CDÉNÉ team. He decided to use his knowledge, experience and qualities to succeed in his new position as Coordinator for Foreign Credential Recognition of Internationally Trained Nurses.
Influenced by his love for French culture and language, a few years ago, Mourad also started, in 2014, a university course to obtain a University Degree in French Language.
"I am very happy to join the dynamic and multicultural team at CDÉNÉ," he said. "It is a great honor to collaborate with the different partners and to contribute to the accomplishment of the objectives of CDÉNÉ and the Acadian and Francophone community of Nova Scotia."
