Renee Blinn, new Economic Development Officer for Clare
Halifax, October 14, 2021 – The Conseil de développement économique de la Nouvelle-Écosse (CDÉNÉ) is pleased to announce the recent hiring of Renee Blinn as the new Economic Development Officer for Clare. Her start date was October 12, 2021.
Renee was born in Clare and grew up in Grosses Coques in Southwestern Nova Scotia. She holds a Bachelor of Arts - Major in Commerce from Université Sainte-Anne in Church Point. Renee has been involved in volunteer work for as long as she can remember in the sports and cultural communities of the Clare region. Professionally, she has worked at Université Sainte-Anne and more recently at the Conseil scolaire acadien provincial (CSAP).
"I am very excited to join the CDÉNÉ team," she said. "I hope that my education, experience and knowledge of our community will benefit the CDÉNÉ. Furthermore, it is a great privilege to work with our various partners, to develop and elaborate our economic development plan and to create sustainable economic development in our community."
