Sydnee Saulnier, new NS Works School Liaison.
Halifax, July 7th, 2022 – The Conseil de développement économique de la Nouvelle-Écosse (CDÉNÉ) is pleased to announce the appointment of Sydnee Saulnier as the new NS Works School Liaison. Her start date was May 05th, 2022.
As a NS Works School Liaison, Sydnee's role is to support high school students with labour market information, employability and career exploration.
Sydnee was born and raised in Clare and has lived there all her life. Passionate about youth learning and development, during her high school years and until recently she worked at the Université Sainte-Anne pool as a Water Safety Instructor and Lifeguard.
Valuing her community and its members, Sydnee has also been a member of the Little Brook Volunteer Fire Department as a volunteer firefighter since 2018 and as a board member since 2021.
Now a recent graduate of the Bachelor of Business Administration (co-op program) at Université Sainte-Anne, she says that as a School Liaison she "looks forward to meeting and working in schools, offering support to students, staff and families." As she would say, "it makes me happy to be able to help others."
